The default Low Idle speed is defined by the calibration. Low Idle speed is controlled by the low idle governor which prevents the Engine speed from dropping below a predetermined value by controlling Engine fueling. The Low Idle speed can be set to the desired value using INSITE™, however the Operator can override this value using an OEM-supplied idle speed adjustment switch.
